e-ssentials - Frequent Asked Questionss

how much does it cost to register?
There is no charge for registration with e-ssentials

does this mean I will start to receive 'junk e-mail'?
No. e-ssentials is an information service and you will not be bombarded with advertising as a result of your registration. If we feel there is something you should know about which is not necessarily law related, we will let you know.

In addition, we may send you details of any seminars we run which may be of interest. If you do not wish to receive such details, please e-mail Debbie Walters at .

will my details be kept confidential?
Yes. Your details will be kept only by Hegarty LLP and not given or sold to any third party. When a bulletin is issued it is done in such a way that you will not know who else has subscribed to the service.

can I receive the bulletins at home as well as at work?
Of course. We appreciate that many people are studying for professional examinations and therefore find the bulletins useful for home study. The only proviso is that we have business contact details as well.

is there a limit on the number of registrations to one organisation?
No. In fact, we have many large organisations who have registered their entire HR or property teams. Remember, the service is free so there is no additional cost for multiple registrations.

how are the bulletins distributed?
e-ssentials bulletins are sent via e-mail. They are sent in rich text format, which most e-mail systems seem to be able to read.

what information do you need to register?
In order to process your registration request we need to know certain details. These include your name and e-mail address, your organisation and a daytime telephone number. We need these details to verify your registration.

how can I get back issues of e-ssentials bulletins?
When your registration to e-ssentials is accepted, you will be sent a full set of back issues of the bulletins. Further bulletins will then be sent to you as and when they are issued.
