Sarah is a CILEx Paralegal (ACILEX) in the Family Law Department, having joined Hegarty in July 2021 as a Paralegal.
Sarah began her training with the Institute of Legal Executives (ILEX) in September 2005 completing ILEX Part 1 Year 1 and again in September 2006 completing ILEX Part 1 Year 2 and thereafter successfully completing the Level 3 Diploma in Law. Sarah successfully completed the CPQ Foundation Stage in January 2023, which allows her to now use the professional title CILEx Paralegal and nominal letters (ACILEX). Sarah currently holds an Associate Member status with ILEX.
Sarah is currently training through CILEx (Chartered Institute of Legal Executives) as a Student Member to complete the CILEx Professional Qualification (CPQ) Advanced and Professional Qualifications. Sarah is also a Student Member of Resolution.
Sarah deals with Divorce Applications, Non-Molestation Orders and all matters relating to Children Act Proceedings such as residence issues and contact issues for parents and grandparents, enforcing or varying an Order of the Court and Special Guardianship Order applications. Sarah also deals with Change of Name Deeds, Statutory Declarations and Affidavits for Marriage.
Sarah is married to Colin, and they live with their Maltese Dog, Billy and whilst he is adorable, Billy suffers from separation anxiety and is a very nervous little dog. Outside of work, Sarah enjoys spending as much time as she can with her husband and enjoys swimming at the weekends, as well as watching football and most other sports.
