Andrew Hornsby is partner in the Commercial Litigation department. After studying at De Montfort University and qualifying in 1996, Andrew joined Hegarty Solicitors in 2007 and was made an Associate in 2008.
Andrew’s expertise lies within all areas of commercial litigation including insolvency, contract and company disputes, injunctions and litigious employment related issues. He is an accredited mediator and is also a member of the Law Society Commercial Dispute Resolution Panel and the Centre of Expertise for Dispute Resolution. Andrew’s commitment to achieving the best results possible for his clients resulted in his promotion to partner on 1st May 2015.
Andrew has a flexible approach to clients’ needs and offers outside visits and out of hours appointments where this is helpful.
Andrew’s legal experience has led him to be asked to write on commercial law for local newspapers including The Stamford Mercury and The Peterborough Evening Telegraph. A keen supporter of children’s education, he is a governor at Werrington Primary School and often speaks at local events on behalf of Peterborough Skills, a local education charity.
