Specialist area: Probate, Wills, the creation and administration of Trusts, Inheritance Tax Planning (including for lump sum pension and death in service benefits), care home funding issues, Powers of Attorney and related property matters.
Greg has thirty years’ experience gained through employment in the Private Client departments of both a major UK Bank and an offshore Bank as well as within the legal profession. He qualified as a solicitor in 1998 and became a partner of the firm in 2006.
Greg has considerable experience in advising and acting in the administration of complex probate matters involving business interests, overseas assets and cross jurisdictional issues. Recently he has advised non-UK resident clients who live in Australia, Russia, South Africa, Japan and Spain and who have UK assets with regard to the preparation of wills. Additionally he has advised UK resident clients in connection with their wills and potential exposure to death duties both in the UK and abroad who have assets situated in Germany, Switzerland, Spain, France, Italy, Australia, Dubai, India, USA and a number of other countries.
