We have a dedicated charity committee who organise a number of fundraising events throughout the year. This year our nominated charity of the year is The Lodge Trust in Rutland.
The Lodge Trust provides support for adults with learning disabilities and has been doing so since 1984. They work to give their residents training and employment best suited to their needs, and to enable them to best care themselves where possible.
A team of nearly 70 people work at The Lodge Trust to provide a safe and stimulating living environment, supporting our Service Users in their home, work, recreational and spiritual lives.
The Lodge Trust has been recognized as a ‘ Silver Investors in People’ organisation and has also been awarded the Employment Service ‘Positive about Disabled People’ symbol. The Lodge Trust and many of their staff have signed the Social Care Commitment.
