Coronavirus health and safety measures for clients visiting our offices

During the current circumstances, our team have been working hard to deliver our usual excellent levels of service. Our offices are open for essential pre-arranged appointments only however, our staff can be contacted by phone, email and video calls. We have put a number of safety measures in place to protect our staff and clients visiting our offices.Firstly, all visits to the office will be kept to a minimum and we encourage clients to arrange a remote meeting via phone or video conferencing. If it is essential for you to have a face-to-face meeting with one of our legal advisors, the meeting will be pre-arranged and your legal adviser will explain all the safety measures we have in place.Following the government guidance, it is now mandatory for all visitors to our offices to wear a face-covering whilst on the premises. If you are visiting our office please ensure you bring a face covering with you. We are also collecting visitor contact details and keeping them for a period of 21 days after their visit so that we can assist NHS Test and Trace with requests for that data if needed. This could help to contain clusters or outbreaks in the local area. All clients will be asked to use hand sanitiser upon arrival and this will be made available at the entry points of our offices and in our meeting rooms. For health and safety purposes and to limit contact, we have removed all reading material and toys that we usually provide in our waiting rooms.[caption id="attachment_6742" align="aligncenter" width="1024"]Covid health and safety measures in our offices COVID Health and Safety Measures at Hegarty Solicitors for our visitors.[/caption] Clients will also be asked to follow social distancing and hygiene measures and we have displayed the social distance and hygiene requirements in our waiting rooms and meeting rooms. The chairs in our meeting rooms have been rearranged to comply with social distance rules and we have removed excess seating. If you have any concerns about booking appointments or visiting our offices, please do not hesitate to contact your legal adviser or your local office so that we can offer advice and address any issues.
