Growing Client Base Leads to New Property Roles

Leading law firm, Hegarty Solicitors continues to grow with the creation of three new roles within its busy property department.

Associate Solicitor Vicki Chilton, who has been with the firm since 2002, has been appointed head of the newly formed Residential Conveyancing department.  Historically, Hegarty Solicitors has had a single property department covering both residential and commercial conveyancing, headed up by partner, Hugh Nicholls.

Hugh said: “Over the past 12 months, we have been extremely successful at attracting new clients to the firm, and the size of the team has increased to cope with the demand.  It made sense to create a separate residential conveyancing department to ensure we continue to deliver an outstanding service to both our private and corporate clients.”

Richard Hegarty, founding partner and property law expert said: “Vicki was the ideal choice to lead the team.  She brings a wealth of property law experience to the role, and she shares our passion for delivering the highest levels of service to clients, which makes her the perfect fit for the position.”

In addition to Vicki’s new role as head of department, Hegarty Solicitors has also recruited two new lawyers to sit within the expanding residential conveyancing department. Sarah Martin joins the firm as Chartered Legal Executive and Jodi Ross joins as Conveyancing Executive.

Hugh Nicholls said: “More and more people are choosing Hegarty Solicitors when moving house.  Sarah and Jodi are not only experienced conveyancers, but both share a willingness to go that extra mile for clients so it is great to have them on board.”
