Helping Jess to Walk

Hegarty Solicitors is delighted to announce sponsorship of local running group TeamJess who are raising money to help four year old local girl Jessica Howard be able to walk. 

Jess, from Helpston in Peterborough, was born with a form of cerebral palsy which means some of the nerves in her spine have been permanently damaged. This limits normal movement in her arms and legs that would otherwise allow her to walk. 

More than 60 runners have now signed up to TeamJess to run a series of races across the country, including the Great Eastern Run Peterborough and the Peterborough 5k Fun Run, to raise enough money to ensure Jess gets an operation to enable her to walk unaided.
