Andrew Heeler joined the firm in 1997 and, having completed his training in 1999, became a partner in 2006.
Andrew is the head of the Corporate / Commercial department and has considerable experience in all aspects of Company and Commercial Law.
He specialises in acquisitions, disposals, share and group structures and group or business de-mergers. He also deals with employee share schemes as well as preparing and negotiating complex commercial contracts. Andrew’s depth of knowledge and 20 years’ plus experience means businesses at all levels, from sole traders and small companies to medium enterprises and corporate organisations will benefit from his expertise.
Andrew adopts a practical and commercial approach that focuses on his clients’ objectives. He is also the partner responsible for handling any internal complaints for Hegarty Solicitors and is the Compliance Officer for Legal Practice (COLP) for the firm. This is an internal administrative role ensuring the practice complies with its obligations for Outcome Focused Regulation as supervised by the Solicitors Regulation Authority.
Outside of Hegarty Solicitors, Andrew is a keen golfer and follows most other sports. He is a keen cook (mostly because he loves food), regularly goes to the gym (because of the love of food) and enjoys making or repairing just about anything as long as there is an excuse to use a gadget or power tools.
