Tom Moore became a member of the Association of Taxation Technicians in 2012, and a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation in 2015.  He joined Hegarty Solicitors as a Tax, Trust and Estate Planning Specialist in 2022.  Prior to this he has spent the last 15 years working for local and national accountancy firms gaining a great deal of experience in several different roles.

His expertise is with private client matters, including high net worth individuals, trusts and estates; covering income tax, capital gains tax and inheritance tax, both the compliance and planning aspects.  He also has experience dealing with non-UK domicile and non-UK resident individuals, farmers, the self-employed, landlords, tax disputes and investigations, succession planning, Stamp Duty Land Tax (SDLT), employment tax and Non-Contentious Probate.

Tom is an Affiliate of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP).

Locally, Tom is a member of the NSPCC Business Support Group who help to raise funds for the charity for the benefit of local children.
